What you bring (or would like to bring)
- Solid training: You have completed training as a financial accountant, tax clerk, or something comparable. 📚
- Accounts receivable is your thing: You have solid knowledge in accounts receivable and feel at home in VAT law – reverse charge, B2B, B2C, EU regulations are not foreign words to you. 💶
- SaaS experience would be great: If you have worked with Stripe, Chargebee, or other subscription billing systems before, that’s a big plus! If not, we’ll be happy to teach you.
- Structured and precise: You work accurately, keep an overview, and like it when everything is in its place. You notice errors before they become problems. ✅
- Strong communication skills: You speak fluent German and can coordinate well with our tax advisor and the team.
What you’ll work on with us 🗺️
Billing & accounts receivable management (approx. 60% of your time)
- You manage customer billing including international SaaS VAT (B2B reverse charge, B2C)
- You monitor incoming payments and take care of dunning
- You clarify payment discrepancies with customers; open-item lists are not unfamiliar to you
Financial accounting & tax advisor interface (approx. 40% of your time)
- You coordinate regularly with our tax advisor on accounting and tax-related questions
- You clarify special cases for international transactions (we have customers in several countries!)
- You support with annual financial statements
